Narendra modi at Trible Zone

Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi today described Jhagadia as the fastest growing tribal taluka (block) in the country in terms of providing modern infrastructure and quality life during the last decade.
He recalled that Dahej was recently adjudged the only one from India and the 25th fastest growing SEZ in the world.
Talking about the Jhagadias rise from one of the most backward talukas to the most progressive one, he said, the states economic development during the last decade has redefined the word V for Victory into V for Vibrant Gujarat.
Mr. Modi, who was inaugurating the rubber chemicals major Lanxess ion exchange resins manufacturing plant at Jhagadia Industrial Estate, complimented the firm for bringing best water treatment technology to the state. With exposure in 50 countries, it becomes the German firms third plant in the state. Its benefit would be now available in other parts of the country too, he said.

The German firms Chief Executive Officer and other top officers reciprocated the compliments by thanking Mr. Modi for extra-ordinary co-operation and concern for green environment. They handed over a cheque of Rs. 10-lakh to the Chief Ministers Girls Education Fund.
Those present on the occasion included MP Bharatsinh Parmar, MLA Dushyant Patel, BJP District President Shirishbhai Bangali, Bharuch Nagarpalika Presidents Manharbhai Gohil and District Collector Roopwant Singh.
Modi opens Sejal modern glass factory at Jhagadia
Gandhinagar, Thursday: Chief Minister Narendra Modi today inaugurated a modern glass manufacturing factory by Sejal Group at Jhagadia Industrial Estate.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Modi praised the entrepreneurial skill of the Mumbai-based Gada family, hailing from Kutch.
Mr. Amritlal Gada presented Rs.5-lakh cheque to the Chief Ministers Girls Education Fund and a portrait to Mr. Modi.
Boat Rally at Nal Sarovar to raise awareness of HIV and Aids
Wednesday was World Aids Day and a boat rally was organised at Nal Sarovar to raise national awareness of HIV and Aids, its perilous impacts on humankind. The campaign launched to educate people about HIV, specifically in the areas of raising awareness and educating the populace about the virus and how it operates.
The district Aids Control Society Ahmedabad in collaboration with Manav Sewa Education Trust-Sanand, TATA NANO Motors, I.C.T.C, and Community Health Centre Sanand organised the rally. What is most significant is that they, too, the Aids affected patients must be allowed to enjoy their human rights to the fullest, which includes the right to proper medical care. Around 50 HIV affected people took part into the rally besides 200 others.
Shri Manubhai Barot of Manav Sewa Education Trust informed that the prime objective before us is to educate people and raise awareness.
Taluka Level swimming competitions at Mandava village
Swimming today is globally recognised as an ideal exercise, it involves entire body without impacting too much stress. The Taluka level swimming competitions held at Mandava village of Kutiyana Taluka witnessed participation from 66 boys in under-16 categories, while 36 women took part in above-16 category. Taluka Development Officer Gamit boosted the spirit of players. The ongoing Khel Maha Kumbha provides opportunity to sports persons to show their talent.
GUVNL AND GIDB BAGGED 3RDKPMGINFRASTRUCTURE AWARD
 Gujarat Governments two organizations- Gujarat Urja Vikash Nigam Ltd.(GUVNL) and Gujarat Industrial Development Board (GIDB) bagged  the prestigious 3rd KPMG Infrastructure Today award-2010 for being most admired state entity in power sector (GUVNL) and most admired state entity in water and urban infrastructure sector (GIDB).
 The awards were received by Mr. L. Chuaungo-MD of GUVNL and Mr. A.K. Sharma, CEO, GIDB from Shri Kamal Nath, Union Minister for Roads, Transport and Highways in a function held here late evening.
 GUVNL has done the remarkable work in power sector by installing generation capacity of 12512 MW through commissioning Extra High Tension-EHT transmission line in 40209.40 k.m. area and High Tension-HT line. GUVNL is supplying electricity to 10.7 million consumers in the state
 After receiving the award, Shri A.K.Sharma, CEO of GIDB said that to make Gujarat a globally preferred place to live in and to do business through accelerated, balanced, inclusive and sustainable growth driven by robust social, industrial and physical infrastructure, the state government had released Blueprint for Infrastructure in Gujarat 2020 (BIG 2020). GIDB has also decided to set up sea water based desalination plant at various locations.
 ASAPP Media and KPMG have teamed up together to encourage the various players in infrastructure sectors by announcing annually the KPMG-Infrastructure Today Award. GUNVL and GIDB were selected by the eminent panel for their outstanding work in power sector and water & urban infrastructure sector respectively.
 Shri P.H.Rana, Director Technical (GUVNL) also attended the award distribution function.
